Compared with a traditional fixed speed system, DC Inverter technology represents an energy saving of 30% (Class A). The secret behind is that inverter can control and adapt its running speed according to the room temperature requirements. By avoiding compressor start-up and stoppage phases, DC Inverter technology enables the system to run continuously while modulating the compressor output in relation to the room's set temperature point. The inverter technology can be compared with driving a car: To reach a hill you need to push your accelerator more while driving downhill you do not need to push as much. In the same way an inverter unit will start with increased capacity to reach room temperature needed and reduces its capacity when set temperature reached to maintain set room conditions with low capacity input to save energy. Unlike a basic fix speed system, which starts and stops repetitively, the inverter system varies the compressor speed, to achieve the desired temperature, thereby reducing power consumption for extra energy savings.
