Certifications

Airwell products are known for their reliability and long life. The excellent quality and an especially wide product range offer a clear advantage to our customers. As a company that is active worldwide, the Airwell Group strives to maintain these high quality standards at the various production locations and to further improve them where possible. Airwell plants are ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified by most recognised certification bodies and participates in the renowned Eurovent Certification program, a voluntary initiative which ensures that capacity ratings and design properties have been verified by independent laboratories according to international standards. Furthermore, Airwell applies the Kaizen method, which means that production processes and results will be constantly revised and improved, taking into account the input of all hierarchic levels.

		ISO 9000 The Airwell Group's quality management systems conform to the requirements of ISO 9000-2000, which address all aspects of the business process from design to procurement, products, installation and servicing.				ISO 9001 As quality is one of the key factors in ensuring customer satisfaction, the Airwell Group is approved by AFAQ regarding its Quality Management System ISO 9001. This internationally recognised certificate assures quality standards for manufacturers.
		EUROVENT Airwell Group actively participates in the Eurovent Certification program for air conditioning ranges (up to 12 kW), Liquid Chillers, Fan Coils and Air Handling Units. Eurovent is an international organisation that approves product performance and noise-levels which are published on the Eurovent web directory.				NF Heat Pump Certification In 2008, Airwell Industrie France received a NF (French Standard) certificate for Heat Pumps. The NF guarantees the quality and safety of the heat pumps’ thus conforming with French, European and international standards on efficiency rate, thermal capacity and acoustic level.
		ISO 14001 ISO 14001 provides assurance that the Airwell Group has an effective environmental management system in place to control all of its activities, products and services that have an impact on the environment.				OHSAS 18001 The Airwell Group’s human capital – its people – is fundamental to its sustainable success. OHSAS 18001 (Occupation Health and Safety Assessment Series) assists us in our ambition to achieve zero accidents and work-related injuries and illness, through effective health and safety management systems.
		Underwriters Laboratories The Airwell Group’s products distributed in the USA are approved by The Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certificate which evaluates products, components, materials and systems for compliance with specific requirements.				CSA International In the USA, Airwell Group is accredited by CSA International which certifies products following standardized test protocols in laboratories across the U.S. Just as importantly, CSA marks are accepted by major retailers, manufacturers, distributors, specifiers and regulators throughout the U.S. and in export markets around the world.
		Airwell’s centralised air handling unit range Premi@ir is awarded with the ‘RLT-Hygiene’ certificate by the ILH Institute in Berlin, an indispensable prerequisite in Germany for selling products into sensitive applications such as clean rooms, etc. where hygiene requirements are paramount. This certificate guarantees that all non-metallic components in certified units are inert towards spores, bacteria, etc. and that gaskets inside the casing conform to the requirements of RLT-Hygiene. Furthermore, the RLT-Hygiene certificate guarantees that the Airwell Premi@ir range comply with the German standards VDI 6022 and VDI 3803 as well as with the Austrian ÖNORM H6021, the Swiss SWKI VA 104-01 and the European DIN EN 13779.
